I have at least one, if not two of those fans myself. Not a bad little setup.

What type grease for tape deck?

Ah, yes, old Triclops! The one with the bias adjustment? meter that was on that one model only, Ron used to talk about it. I have one. Still waiting for that day I get my CT-F950, then I call my collection of 1974-1981 Pioneer models DONE.

Okay, FF 66 has been released and been patched in just daze, explain stuff to me?

I was able to get a couple of those instances up there in the 500K+ area before I ended the process trees on purpose, one by one until I lost the whole browser. I still have some tweaking to do if they left me any room for it. I haven't frozen yet, but it's a pain when it wants to automatically...

Okay, FF 66 has been released and been patched in just daze, explain stuff to me?

Well I did find the instance MSN was running on and caused it to crash and go to the home page by ending the process tree. My Outlook Mail tab stayed open.

Okay, FF 66 has been released and been patched in just daze, explain stuff to me?

First of all, FF 65 in 32 bit was always crashing like a drunk driver, mainly on MSN or Yahoo. So FF 66.0 was released last week, it didn't change much. Maybe crashed more. I'm dealing with a 32 bit Dell and Windows 7 here of course. 6 GB of 800 MHz RAM IIRC. Core2 Duo 6300 at 1.86? GHz per...

    what are you listening to?

The indeterminate sound of whatever is on the oldies station across the house in my bedroom. Socks is sleeping on the top of the loveseat near me so it's not louder.

Okay, who was the new guy that was fixing PL200s?

I was hinting that I might save my sheckels and Green Stamps for a 100W/channel PL...if somebody would get and fix it for me...but I'll get that UN translator. Maybe fix the Altec Stonehenges and use my Marantz Imperials and make something of the living room, now that I'll have 50 3ft. RCA...

    thumping question

IIRC It's a capacitor (or a few)...Vintage receivers do this as well, energy builds up before the signal is passed and let go. It's really disconcerting sometimes I would bet, especially if you are really worried about your speakers going pbbbbbblllt! on you. Not a complete big deal when you...

Okay, who was the new guy that was fixing PL200s?

Because here is one in Washington State with a couple more hours and so far dirt cheap. https://www.ebay.com/itm/113687061692 And that is more within my wattage range, not bidding tho, no Paypal. Notice that the seller didn't photograph it on top of GRAVEL like the last one I pointed out.

    Gasoline prices dropping

That's about the size of it. And there is a refinery fire about every other year somewhere in the country, think the last big one IIRC was a Tesoro? plant.
