Thanks for jumping in .. I posted that same schematic and the consensus is that it is incorrect....

I originally did the WOPL 4 years ago.... and it didn't seem that bad. I have now ventured into using a DSP and working on a tri amp setup. As I was moving amps in and out I discovered that my currently stock 400 has way less hiss that the wopl 700B ....swapped out a crown xls 202 and same deal...

Is there a complete and up to date schematic or drawing floating around that lays out all the grounding tricks ?

The coax shield is the ground Im referring to ... The 220K resistors are shown on the white oaks "single point ground scheme"

In the initial WOPL build I omitted them so unfortunately I can't say To your post , If the hiss is there with them in and no difference out That would just about guarantee they were not the issue... At this point I don't have that comparison .... A Question : in an earlier post you put up...

Sorry , That's my point....They are bypassed .... The RCA's go directly to the boards not through the pots.... So there isn't any attenuation for the input signal ... essentially full gain at low volumes... The thought was that it would be much quieter with less amp gain but more output from...
