It arrived safely today. Frosty, but it's warming up in the shop. It'll stay on the shelf for a few days since it arrived cold.

It's been almost a year since my dream of owning a PL WOPL 700 went to sh!t from a couple of bullsh!t artists. That f'n ordeal suxs, but at least I was refunded my cash. I finally found a fully restored pair of Cerwin Vega DX-9'S, and had those U-shipped to my shop. Ron's old 400 is coming up...

No return. Refund once I get it safely packed and shipped back.

It will be heading back. Back to square one.

Ed's still wanting me to send it back to Chuck to repair/troubleshoot. That makes zero sense to me. At this point I just want it out of here and be back at square one. For that much coinage, I should be pissing off the neighbors instead of shipping a box of iron across the country.

Well no word so far on the return. What would it cost to rebuild this "upgraded" unit?

The sale ad was presented as a unit being fully upgraded, and "perfect". I expected this to be turnkey complete plug and play.

That's what I don't get, its supposed to be a complete rebuild (all new parts(?)) to wopl specs, and cleaned the controls but just not replacement of wiring. Most of me says wash my hands of it for full refund on that part of the transaction *bought pair of speakers too*, or have it checked out...
