Jensen had the "Imperials" on the late 50's and early 60's. The size of a small refrigerator. called a "Hyperbolic Folded Horn" design. these were actually built from Speakerlab plans BY ME IN 1984 WITH A 7" Skilsaw and a protractor and straightedge. Had the original Speakerlab drivers in them till 3 years ago when we upgraded to the Crites 1526C woofer, B & C DC M 50 2" midrange driver bolted to a Martelli "Tractix" wood horn and a B & C DC10 tweet. Crossovers are Al Klappenberger's "Universal" series, a world above the stock Klipsch crossovers. With the converted Phase Linear 700's to WOPL 1000's (White Oaked Phase Linear) Can routinely get to 130DB SPL's. VERY LOUD and VERY CLEAR.....
