Just got a release note from Music Direct that they are now stocking MOFI turntables, needles, and phono preamps. Just throwing it out there in case anybody interested hasn't heard they were coming!!!

Mobile Fidelity, best known for its superb vinyl reissues is close to releasing two made in America turntables and a phono preamplifier. The turntables were first shown a year ago in rough prototypical form. This year they are closer to launch. The 'tables were designed with input from veteran turntable designer Allen Perkins, with help from Harmonic Resolution Systems' vibration control expert Mike Latvis. The phono preamp design relied upon the expertise of EAR's Tim DeParavicini, who also was responsible for the Mo-Fi's superb mastering suite.

Nice, Tim DeParavicini is a very talented designer but, I'll stick with my good old Thorens, that gear just looks cheap and flimsy...
Looks sort of like a Rega build? Mofi does not have manufacturing facilities for equipment but since Music Direct bought them out, I am sure there is several US companies willing to make and badge themthem
