    I guess I finally get to say use a real OS and browser.
    Nothing is misguided to it's creators, only the recipients who didn't want the expectation ruined for them.

    I d/l'd the zip file presented and saved it to disk. I then renamed the file extension to .mp3. It plays in VLC.

    Well, maybe so, but what are you using that it came up as a ZIP file?

    IE 11 sees is as an mp3 with no trouble and even opens it in Windows Media Player.

    Do you use Apple?

    See, what I don't get and what bugs me is when I find a file I think is worth sharing and I tend to get "it doesn't work"...that didn't tell me a lot and I can't be such an idiot?

    It shouldn't be a freaking puzzle.

    I have VLC too but my defaults are to WMP and VLC works through WMP.

    Windows 10 Pro and IE11
